Wow! What an honor to have our partner shop Mattress Lot’s scholarship program featured in the Oregonian/Oregon Live! Pulitzer Prize winning writer Tom Hallman describes his experience reviewing the scholarship applications (see the link below). Mattress Lot and Stumptown Mattress are owned by the same Portland family. This year Mattress Lot is offering more scholarships than ever before. We started our program with a single $1000 scholarship in 2015. This year we offered an $8000 scholarship and multiple $1000 scholarships. Students from East-Side high schools are invited to apply. This program is only possible because of the local support our customers from across the Pacific Northwest have shown us over the years.
